On Saturday, June 12th a fundraiser was held for Adam Enzian. Adam Enzian (or "Sasquatch" to his friends), was in a horrific accident on February 21st. He was helping a friend work on a car when it shifted and fell on top of him. Adam had to undergo two surgeries that night in the ER. The doctor said that night that it would be a miracle for him to make it through both surgeries. Adam has defied the odds and made it through the surgeries and is still fighting each day to get better. He had multiple broken bones in his face and a portion of his skull removed, and has many more surgeries ahead.
CFGB would like to thank everyone who was a part of the fundraiser for Adam Enzian. We were able to raise over $2,000 to donate to Adam and his family at this event.
A fellow CrossFitter and cousin of one of our members suddenly lost consciousness and had to be placed in a medically induced coma in early February. He has since woken up, but has a long road of recovery and a lot of medical expenses ahead of him. On February 18th had a fundraiser WOD for medical expenses for Patrick and his family and raised $740 in addition to donations made directly to his GoFundMe page. #patrickstrong
